Western Illinois will try to make 2 straight as they host IUPUI on Saturday at Western Hall. WIU has beaten IUPUI 6 straight but the task continues to get tougher as Austin Parkinson is building a nice program over in Indy as is Gravina here in Macomb could be some fun match ups in the future. One new years eve WIU went into the locker room down 14 at half stormed back to take the lead with 8 minutes left. After another IUPUI run WIU found themselves down by 8 with 1:30 left and you know how the rest of the story went.
This will be the second time this season the Phillips sister will meet as Karis will face her sister Emily of IUPUI. Neither where on the court at the same time in the game at IUPUI.
For your drive to Western Hall we will have highlights from WIU's big win in Kansas City as well as the post game interview with head coach JD Gravina on the Buffalo Wild Wings Pre Game Show. We will also talk to coach about the upcoming game with IUPUI and talk some this day in Leatherneck history for you.
